Hello...I apologize for being out of touch so long! Things have been progressing without me. The rock is finished on the front and Andy hung the lights to see what they look like. Dad and Andy have been pushing dirt around and planning for fencing. They compacted for the driveway. The drywallers have applied a second coat of mud on the taping. Hopefully someday soon we'll have texture and be able to paint...

Check out the rock! Isn't that cool? Everywhere that it's grey... along the front & the back patio/porch columns will be that rock. The drywall is hung...taping starts tomorrow. We had a little fiesta on the back porch...great furniture, right?

Hi...while I sit here at school, Andy and my parents are dealing with contractors galor. Rock is being installed on the front of the house, drywall is being taped, and gutters are being discussed. Some days it is sooooo frustrating to have a job! (just kidding). I added a link to the right for the granite I want to use through most of the house. The laundry and office bath may have a different color, just depends on the price and amount of slabs. Mom and I cruised for lighting, countertops, sinks, fans, and other "girl" stuff on Saturday. It was exhausting! I may have found a great deal on mirrors, though! Will post pictures later...

Here's a picture of the shower... and you can see the edge of the tub.

Here's the guest tub... I'm thinking brown tiles with a blue accent - perhaps glass or subway tiles.

Drywall and Patio

We have drywall and a stamped concrete back patio. It looks wider in some places now...very cool. I will do a second posting of just pictures and then a third post about the bathrooms for tile.
